I post in this blog are gone, unfortunately, gradually diminishing. Obviously I've written a lot
elsewhere.
But there 'was a bit' of concert music and some of which I wanted to talk. Probably too late.
In the meantime, however, 'I've updated a little' blog. Sara 'more' easy now archive my posts and I added 'tags' to their revenue, and thus' more' also easy to navigate for argument '.
do not know, I need a little 'inspiration. In my opinion, will not fail 'in the coming months.
For now I've just discovered the 'Romantica', of Minneapolis, and their ultimate album 'America' last year. Highly recommended especially if you like Ryan Adams.
Oh, and there 's also one of the most' beautiful 'songs of Bruce' in the last 10 years on that record.

Whats The Name Of The Song In Unleashed
IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD
REM Jones Beach Amphitheatre, Jones Beach, NY, 6:14:08
Over the years, outdoor concerts I liked less and less, because the first ' typically they are large spaces and then to the perennial risk of rain.
The energy contained under the roof of an arena or a club, I feel more than ever in a concert indoors.
Gia 'there are few artists who interest me see play in arenas, outdoor imagine, but REM are undoubtedly one of them.
Michael Stipe made his debut with 'Welcome to REM Survival 2008' to highlight the adverse weather conditions certainly, in a concert delayed for heavy rain accompanied by lightning (which also hit the amphitheater).
but not on stage and 'no great energy, spontaneity', and a great sound despite the raging waters.
Certainly REM still thought the rain and 'fall incessantly when they are thought to play a totally unprepared' It's The End Of The World ', which Michael had promised not to sing ever again' both and 'tired of the song that for some Luster's concluso i loro shows.
Immancabili nei bis 'Losing My Religion' e 'Man On The Moon' che ha chiuso il concerto.
Consiglio dell'estate quindi, andare a vedere i R.E.M., davvero in forma.
More after MSG.

Eddie Vedder West Coast Solo Tour
I concerti solisti di Eddie Vedder sono tutto quello che ti aspetteresti da lui, nel bene e nel male.
Meanwhile and 'voice still more' beautiful rock. And the way it envelops you in these acoustic performances in theaters or tight spaces and 'incredible. Deep, modulated, and appears altered as' perfect. If someone were to ask me something and 'liked most' of these shows really the answer would be the voice.
The setlist and then 'a collection of everything that you would like to see play in the last 15 years. Cover the more 'desirable,' Walking The Cow ',' Trouble ',' Forever Young ',' I Will not Back Down ',' Growin 'Up', 'Millworker' the best of all. All pieces played in one way or another in the setlist at concerts by Pearl Jam, or that preceded the opening act, in group show in Seattle.
Even the most 'expected' You've Got To Hide Your Love Away 'is not missed, or the delicious' Picture In A Frame 'performed in Milan in 2006 for the first time, and whose translation,' In the Picture Frame ', gave the title to all Italian DVD that followed the excellent tour of' Avocado '.
present the songs written for the soundtrack of 'Dead Man Walking', 'Dead Man' indeed, and 'Man Of The Hour', the piece included in the Tim Burton film 'Big Fish'.
The central part of the show and 'instead been devoted mainly to songs from the last effort of EV, and also the first solo album, the soundtrack to' Into The Wild ':' Guaranteed ', 'No Ceiling', 'Far Behind', 'Rise', 'Setting Forth'.
3 unreleased songs, 'Goodbye', 'You're True', and my favorite 'Broken Hearted', followed by countrieggiante 'Drifting', preceded the part of the show devoted instead to cover that ended in September both the main evenings.
A show so structured that shows the performer Eddie Vedder equally to the songwriter. And this is perhaps 'the lowest point' of the evening weak, or no doubt that haunted me since I started to wonder how his show would be a 'solo'.
EV is not 'mature enough, as a songwriter to take on his shoulders an acoustic show consisting primarily of his songs; or at least not 'what we presented.
As far as I have enjoyed the concerts, which I would not have missed for almost nothing in the world, not even for Bruce who played in 30 miles, too many covers have diverted my attention from the compositions of the lead singer of Pearl Jam.
Obviously you also need a big dose of humility ', courage and honest', all qualities that abound in that Eddie Vedder and then 'just to be admired in this regard.
E 'was good in the alternation to the instruments, thus avoiding a' monotonous sound 'and that' the worst mistake that anyone can 'commit to an acoustic show. Although I would prefer some shade 'open (it says so? Open tuning?) That gives depth to the sound the guitar has enough space between the acoustic, mandolin, banjo, ukulele and the power not to 'play' too repetitive. In addition, it has been able to entertain the audience with introductions and varied and often amusing anecdotes, escaping from the image gruff Edda 90s.
The best things were probably the most 'unexpected or alternative' Porch ',' Just Pulled Into Santa Cruz ', made the same day in the city' California, and the intense 'ARC'. In short, if the voice of Eddie and 'beautiful, think of it multiplied by 9, as there are many overlaps done in real time, and' oped ', in this song. Creepy.
The final 'Hard Sun', played with a lot of Liam Finn on drums, her good opening set, and vocalist EJ, helped by pre-recorded backing the same Eddie ago from a reel to reel player on stage, gives us what we will be back 'to Eddie Vedder to be courageous and after this pleasant tour of the 'April Fool'. The one who sings to his feet, wiggling, dancing, screaming, sweating, with his usual companions, Pearl Jam.

APRIL'S FOOL
Eddie Vedder will embark 'in a short acoustic tour on the west coast between 2 and 15 April, called April Fool's Tour
Fortunately the news is not' an April Fool's joke, if it 's true that a limited number of tickets for each show were sold today by tenclub .
Since you can not 'spit face to fortune I could not refuse a pair of tickets for the concert Saturday, April 5 at the Civic Auditorium in Santa Cruz, California, the same evening in which a few miles will play 'Bruce Springsteen with the E Street Band in San Jose.
I remember joking with my brother, 'but if we are in a theater, Pearl Jam, and Bruce in an arena, the same night, who go to see?'.
enough for me to Eddie Vedder, and I'm very curious to see how will 'for a full concert alone on stage.
2 years ago, after the acoustic concert by Bruce in Seattle with Eddie spectator (and Peter Buck), I had a long and interesting discussion with a member of the crew of the Pearl Jam, who was also present at the concert.
both agree with the fact that Eddie Vedder was not a songwriter still quite 'mature' to perform in a show like that. (And cursed the day that gave him a ukulele Bruce). Of course it was before the soundtrack 'Into The Wild' , which has certainly contributed to the idea of \u200b\u200ban acoustic tour.
Now you just stay and wait anxiously waiting ..... 'The Waiting drives me mad ....'

A Long Way From Heaven
Michael McDermott Live
Maxwells, Hoboken, NJ 1/30/2008 + Arlene's Grocery, NYC 31/01/2008
At the end of '20 Miles South Of Nowhere ', which concluded the set of 8 songs by Michael McDermott in NY, and the hound is' approached me trying to hide the tears in his eyes.
To be honest, I was very satisfied. Happy 'cause I knew exactly where they came from, how to release emotions that are too big to be contained. After all the stories he tells the singer in Chicago are not the most 'happy and, even more' unfortunate, are true. How then do not get excited in front of an artist who reveals that over two evenings and tells us about failed love, dependency, and existential crisis mystical number. An artist fragile, still searching for himself or will not find something that 'never will do until' peace himself.
The doubts and fears that the boy from 'A Wall I Must Climb' (1991) seeks to overcome are the same as those found in the last 'Noise From Words' (2007) but there' bitterness in a more ', marked by years of losses, personal and professional.
In 'Mess Of Things' singer surrenders to the temptation of drugs, 'Still Is not Over You Yet' there is a lot of sadness for a relationship that ended badly (5 years, after which Michael has returned the engagement ring to the pawn shop) to make even the stones cry, in 'A Kind Of Love Song', the author even doubts his ability 'to write songs worthy of love for the person who left ( my favorite verses 'I wish I could write you the kind of love song That A Better Than I Could writer pen' ). Just to speak only of songs from the last album that he played in NY.
The previous evening, to Hoboken, was the first time I saw him live. Eileen Rose, which opened for Michael, he assured me I would have liked and you and 'that a bit' intimidated by the fact that Europe will 'him to open for her (which, however,' will 'band members). 'It's too good,' he said. And he was right. Although I spent most of the last 10 and more years' indifferent to the work of Michael McDermott in the studio after the personal disappointment of the two discs that have followed the phenomenal debut '620 W. Surf ', setting the tone enhances the qualities of very prolific songwriter. And who knows how to write songs. The already 'mentioned '20 Miles South Of Nowhere', perhaps the song most 'epic' of his entire discography (ie, 'Born To Run'), add 'Wounded', 'Arm Yourself' with the usual intro 'In My Time Of Dying', 'Murder on Her Lips', preceded by a story about how a drunk in New Orleans, had agreed to kill his companion, who abused her, a girl with whom he had an affair in those days ('She has love in her eyes, and Murder on her lips') and 'Junkie Girl', history rather than a relationship with a heroin addict who recently met with Michael in Los Angeles (he thought it was dead), and now girlfriend of a porn star ('and' one step up 'joked).
Eileen Rose and Michael McDermott will be on tour in Italy April 19 to 25 (19 in Seveso, Italy in almost if I could go on foot), more information becomes available on Tomatoes and Music Rootshighway.
